Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 9, 2026

At Vumu, accessible from vumu.io and app.vumu.io, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors and users. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Vumu and how we use it.

If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us at support@vumu.io.

1. Information We Collect

To provide our personalized video outreach services at scale, Vumu collects both personal data and technical assets from its users:

  • Account Information: When you register for an account (Starter, Pro, or Enterprise), we collect personal information such as your name, corporate email address, and workplace details.
  • Payment Data: All subscription billing transaction details are processed securely through our payment provider, Stripe. Vumu does not store your full debit or credit card information on its servers.
  • Media and Outreach Assets: We collect, process, and store assets you provide to generate your campaigns, including uploaded custom avatars, recorded video/audio tracks, target prospect lead lists, and custom text scripts.
  • Connected Third-Party Integrations: When you link your Google Workspace, Microsoft Email accounts, or CRM integrations (such as Zapier, Hubspot, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign, or CampaignMonitor), we securely access only the specific authorization scopes required to send outreach emails and synchronize data analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We utilize the collected information to power, optimize, and maintain our personalized outreach platform, specifically to:

  • Operate, generate, and maintain personalized landing pages, video experiences, and AI human avatars.
  • Process video rendering configurations and calculate tracking matrices for workspace impressions.
  • Provide real-time pipeline tracking, metrics, and deep campaign analytics.
  • Deliver priority customer support and transactional notifications concerning plan status or limits.
  • Detect and mitigate malicious, deceptive, or unauthorized use of our AI systems or servers.

3. Data Storage, Retention, and Assets

Vumu stores assets dynamically calculated according to your subscription tier rules (e.g., up to 25 GB for Starter tiers and up to 100 GB or higher for specialized/Pro tiers). Data assets are retained for as long as your workspace status remains active. You can request structural removal of your media assets and account data at any point by contacting support.

4. Third-Party Service Disclosures

We work alongside trusted operational third-party tools to scale our computing infrastructure:

  • Analytics and Optimization Ecosystems: For deep analytics tracking, performance profiling, and error mapping across platform systems.
  • Payment Infrastructure: Managed completely via Stripe for high-grade transactional security.
  • Infrastructure Hosting: Video processing, AI asset rendering, and database architectures are deployed on secure cloud data centers.

5. Cookies and Web Tracking Devices

Vumu uses standard platform 'Cookies' to save specific configuration parameters, visitor session settings, and active landing page variants. These tools maximize loading efficiency and retain persistent login state variables within the application dashboard workspace.

6. Your Data Rights (GDPR, CCPA, and Global Privacy Regulations)

Depending on your operational global residence, you hold absolute access privileges to your data rights:

  • The Right to Access / Export: You can review all customer lists, template layouts, and profile metadata.
  • The Right to Rectification: You can modify profile layouts and account attributes directly inside your dashboard.
  • The Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You can terminate your platform accounts and request clean wipe patterns of all hosted videos or voice assets.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the effective date at the top of this document.
